Detailed description
Clear steel conduit is also known as a ‘cavalier point’ or ‘cavalier nail’. The product takes the form of a U-shaped nail with a diamond-cutting point at each end. A hammer is used to fix these accessories to different materials such as wood, metal or plastic.
The conduit is different from the stud, which has a bevelled cut.
Professionals use these products to fasten wires or cables, mesh or netting. Clear conduit is also used for assembly, joinery and carpentry work.
Lambert Manufil’s clear conduit undergoes dimensional control throughout the manufacturing process. Manufactured from clear steel wire, this material guarantees the strength and durability of the duct. They are offered for sale in different dimensions (length, height and diameter) to meet the needs of all professionals.
Packaging
Our conduits are sold in +/- 5 kg buckets.
Packaging of +/- 1 kg is also available on request (bag and/or carton).
Application areas
Lightweight buildings
Conduit nails in clear or galvanised steel wire are used in light construction projects. Our rivet nails make it easy to fix gypsum board, drywall, fencing, barbed wire, wire mesh or other building materials.
Temporary fixings
In some cases, conduits (or rider nails) are used for temporary fixing of electrical or communication cables, where ease of removal is desired without leaving major traces. This type of rivet nail can also be used in gardening to hold brambles and other climbing plants in place around posts.
