Detailed description
For pallets and crates used in the construction of packaging, furniture, carpentry and other projects, specific types of nails or steel nails are used to ensure a strong, durable fastening.
Every project is different. It’s important to choose the right nails (or nails), taking into account the thickness of the wood, the type of materials used and the method of assembly (manual or with a nailer).
For example
– Twisted or ringed steel nails provide better adhesion to the wood and greater resistance to tearing,
– notched steel nails also improve the grip and adhesion of the nails in the wood. Note that notched nails have notches.
– wide-head steel nails are ideal for fastening boards together
– Steel wedge nails: these are shorter nails, but are ideal for holding thicker pieces together. These types of nails are good for supporting and reinforcing pallets.
All our nails are produced in France, at our site in Couëron (44).
Packaging
Our nails are available in cardboard boxes of +/- 5kg, or in pallet boxes (in bulk) of +/- 500kg, depending on the reference.
